My Mailbox

I read everything sent to my mailbox, though not always quickly — weekday hours belong to work I do not narrate here, and I protect slow weekends for walking and reading. If you write, tell me which note you read and what it reminded you of; I like when a message carries a place name I recognise, a correction kindly offered, or a question that does not expect me to be an authority. I am not an authority on anything except my own corners of Clementi and the evenings I press into pages.

Welcome notes include memories of kopitiam counters, park connector rain, MRT quiet, or Chin Swee seen from a distance without speculation. Less welcome: urgent requests for professional services I do not offer, pasted press releases, or anything asking me to speak for people I have never met. I do not run a community, a membership, or a list — there is nothing to join, only words to read.

I would rather receive a plain email than tend a contact page that breaks on a server I cannot babysit — real mail reaches me, and that is enough. Email is not a secure channel; do not send identity numbers, financial details, medical records, or personal information about other people.
